Alison Anway is a Principal and Founding Partner of Anway Long Group, a boutique firm specializing in translating healthcare policy and government relations for life sciences, payer, and provider clients — connecting business strategies to the policy and government affairs landscapes.
Ms. Anway has over a decade of healthcare policy experience. She has served as the lead healthcare policy advisor to U.S. Senator Pat Roberts, a member of the U.S. Senate Finance Committee and U.S. Senate HELP Committee, during the consideration and passage of the Affordable Care Act (ACA); led the Government Business Policy Division of a major health insurer; served as the Vice President of a 501(c)(4) organization promoting economic empowerment policies; and led U.S. Public Policy for a global biopharmaceutical company.
This broad experience has given Ms. Anway expertise and insights into Medicare, Medicaid, the ACA, Value Assessment, Federal Contracting, and State policy. Ms. Anway has a B.A. from Florida State University in Communications and a J.D. from the University of Kansas School of Law.

Ms. Long has over fifteen years of healthcare and legislative experience at the federal level. She has served as the Senior Health Investigator for Ranking Member Chuck E. Grassley on the Senate Judiciary Committee as well as his FDA policy advisor; served as Professional Staff for the House Energy and Commerce Subcommittee on Oversight and Investigations; held several legislative staff positions for various Members of Congress; led the Federal Affairs division for a global bio pharmaceutical company; and was a Senior Director of Federal Affairs at a major health insurer.
The combination of federal and corporate healthcare experience has given Ms. Long expertise and insights into all aspects of healthcare related legislative issues, as well as a deep understanding of the impact public policy has on internal corporate decision making. Ms. Long has a B.A. from Florida State University in Political Science and International Relations.
